This page explains how the ofby Driver app handles information.

In short: Location is shared only while you turn location sharing on, and only to coordinate loads and routing. You can turn it off at any time. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

1. Information we collect

Category	What it includes	When
Location data	GPS location, and with each point speed, heading, accuracy, and battery level. Collected while the App is open and, when location sharing is on with “Always” permission, in the background.	Only while Location sharing is on.
Account identifiers	Unit number, driver code, and driver name.	When you sign in and use the App.
Device / push identifiers	A push token and basic device information used to deliver notifications.	When you enable notifications.
In-app communications	Messages you send in load and bid chats, and load-related actions you take.	When you use those features.
Photos, videos, and files	Photos, videos, or documents you attach in a chat (camera, photo library, or file picker).	Only when you send an attachment.
App activity	Screens you open and error reports, used to operate and fix the App. Stored on our own servers.	When you use the App.

We do not collect your contacts, microphone, or advertising identifiers. The App has no third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

2. How we use information

Coordinate loads, routing, pickup, delivery, and ETAs while you are on duty.
Show dispatch your position so they can match and manage loads.
Send operational push notifications, such as load and bid chat messages.
Deliver photos and documents you attach in chat to dispatch for load paperwork.
Provide support.

3. Your control

Location sharing is voluntary. The first time you enable it, the App asks for consent. You can turn it off at any time on the home screen, or revoke location permission in device Settings.

4. How information is shared

Information is shared only as needed to run the App:

Your dispatch and operations team, to coordinate loads.
Service providers that host and operate the App: Hetzner (hosting and database), Cloudflare (file storage and delivery), Expo (app updates and push), and Apple and Google (push delivery to your device).

We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

5. Retention

Location and operational records are kept as long as needed to run loads and then deleted or anonymized. Account identifiers are kept while you use the App.

6. Security

Data is sent over HTTPS. Your sign-in token is stored in the device keystore (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore).

7. Requests

To access, correct, or delete your information, turn off sharing in the App and/or email privacy@ofbyapp.app.

8. Children

The App is for adult professional drivers and is not directed to anyone under 18.
